TEAMS

Each year a team of young committed Christians is recruited and prepared to meet students in schools and share with them a testimony of God’s reality and unconditional love.

Frequently Asked Questions about the ACTS Team

ACTS has been described by those who were part of the team as being “an extended time of retreat” and “a springboard for their future”. Others spoke of the great sense of belonging they experienced in a dynamic group which they began to call “their second family.” Many look back at their time in ACTS Team as a crucial turning point in their spiritual and personal journey.

You will have the chance to be part of this unique project together with a group of other young people and to be part of the outreach  programme to the students in schools.

As a team member we will help you find your place on the team and discover your role and contribution necessary for the success of the outreach programme.

So we seek to help you use your gifts and talents: organisation of the various events, video editing and graphic design, playing an instrument, manning the audio and visual equipment, social media management, office work, interacting with and greeting the students and even public speaking for those who wish.

Yes, various training sessions will be offered: topics on how to answer students’ recurrent questions, how to share your story simply but effectively, how to grow deeper in faith and prayer are all part of the curriculum.

A new team is launched every year in the last week of September and comes to an end in the last week of the following May. The  typical week of ACTS is from Monday to Friday, from 9am till 3pm. There will be a two-week recess at both Christmas and Easter times.

No because ACTS is considered to be voluntary work.
